The machine that taught every Starseed after it how to fly. Welded titanium with extensively machined titanium components, integrated geometry and a closeness between pilot and wing that became the standard for everything that followed.
Two pilots live inside one titanium airframe. One packs a thermos and reclines toward a horizon hours away; the other drops low and fast over the terrain, chasing the line. The X2 was shaped so neither pilot has to compromise for the sake of the other.
Light, compact and balanced by design, the X2 runs the Vittorazi Moster 185 Plus, Vittorazi Atom 80, Cors-Air N80 and Cors-Air Black Bee 125. Its raised fuel tank doubles as the back panel, a Starseed signature born here, opening the air around the pilot and allowing a small engine to deliver its full thrust. Heavier pilots feel a push usually reserved for far larger engines.
Almost everything that defines how a Starseed feels today was solved here first, in metal, by hand. The X2 is where "only the best is good enough" stopped being a phrase and became a machine. That standard carried forward through Starseed XF and Starseed Fusion, and lives on today in the Starseed Stellar 110 and Starseed Stellar 140.
Sophisticated simplicity took titanium form here. Flight feel, aerodynamics, safety, design and flexibility were not treated as separate problems, but held in balance around the StarHub: the single anchor that removes twist and makes the whole frame speak as one piece.

None of these refinements was added to fill a spec sheet. Each was earned in the air. Together, they made the X2 the machine every later Starseed would have to answer to.
Most pilots believe the engine writes the story and the airframe merely carries it. The X2 proved the opposite. The frame shapes the flight, and this one drew a line the moment it left the ground: integrated, calm and quick to answer. Everything Starseed has built since begins where the X2 landed.
Strap in, take the weight, and the machine settles around you. On the X2, "integration" stops being a brochure word and becomes something you experience in the way the machine moves with you. On the ground and in the air, the X2 reads as part of you, answering to intention rather than input. That connection was born here, and every Starseed since has been built to inherit it.
The X2's control came the slow way: thrust line, swing-arm points, riser attachments and flying position tuned against each other until every element steadied the next. Then the choice passes to the pilot. The single-strap setup gives a reclined position during both cruising and landing; the double-strap setup gives a more upright flying position and a fully upright touchdown. One frame. Two ways to carry the body. The machine adapts to the pilot, never the reverse.
The X2 carries the tank that changed the shape of Starseed: raised to form the back panel, opening the air around the pilot and helping a small engine deliver its full thrust. It supports the upright, classic flying position for racing, acro and agile fun flying, and the relaxed, reclined position that feels close to paragliding. A vented fuel cap seals against leaks and keeps fuel odour away when the machine is at rest. One tank. Two flying positions. No wasted structure.
A 140 cm hoop, light in the hand, small once broken down. The X2 is made for pilots whose flying starts with a car boot, a flight case or a trailhead, and who refuse to let transport decide where they fly.
The S-shaped top strut lifts clear of the hoop and leaves nothing between you and the wing. Tip your head all the way back, helmet on, and read the whole canopy overhead. No more launching on faith.
The Apco SLT MKII SuperLight is a full-featured paramotor harness and the only one on the market fully certified to both EN and LTF standards. A side-mounted reserve pocket is supplied as standard. Paired with the single-strap hang-point option on the Starseed X2, it lets you get completely clear of the harness for the safest possible landing.
Between flights, the Magnetic KickStand™ keeps the machine sitting square and steady. Commit to the run, and it slides clear of your feet before snapping back against the frame, held in place by two neodymium magnets. Out of the way. Nothing to catch. Nothing to think about.
Made from Dyneema and our own rubber formula, the Snap-On Net goes on cleanly even at minus 15 degrees Celsius, when other nets fight you. Two minutes and you are first in the take-off queue. Ratcheting buckles set the tension and keep the net taut from the first flight to the hundredth.
Torque is answered twice. The arms are offset from the frame so vertical forces run straight down them, forming a rigid assembly that prevents the swing arms from twisting or bending. Then offset blocks at the arm tips nudge the centre of mass just enough to trim the turning moment on your back. The bigger the engine, the more you feel what is missing: the flight simply stays settled.
In a couple of minutes, the bottom sections and leg detach from the StarHub and the X2 folds down for transport. Reassemble it before the next flight, and the titanium returns to one rigid whole. Small on the road. Complete in the air.
Every X2 is welded from aircraft-grade titanium in a vacuum chamber, a slow, exacting way to build a frame that most makers have long since abandoned. We kept it because titanium keeps its word. Forty per cent lighter than steel, corrosion-resistant, fatigue-resistant: no rust, no cracks, no paint to peel. This is a machine you hand down, not one you replace, and it will look as honest in ten years as on the morning of its first flight.
The X2 is tuned for lightweight engines, including the Vittorazi Moster 185 Plus, Vittorazi Atom 80, Cors-Air N80 and Cors-Air Black Bee 125, to create its most integrated, compact and finely balanced setup. Small engine, whole machine, one feeling.
The Starseed X2 airframe is made of an optimal mix of Grade 2 and Grade 5 titanium.

Unlike free-flying pod harnesses, the Paramotor Pod has openings at both the top and the bottom. It is stowed against the chest with a magnetic attachment during take-off and landing. Once in the air, the pilot can pull it out and step into the pod through the bottom opening, which makes the process easy and intuitive. Read more here.

The Starseed Framebag is shaped around the X2, not adapted from a generic bag. Built from Cordura 1000D with YKK zips and protective EPP foam in every panel, it gives the struts, hoop sections, tools and both sections of a two-part propeller up to 130 cm their own padded space. Break the machine down. Pack every part. Carry the titanium safely from storage room to vehicle to field.
