Pixie is a radical new expression of Climb Assist, created for experienced paraglider pilots who want the least possible machine between their body and the sky.
Compact, light and stripped of everything that is not essential to the task, it is designed to provide thrust when needed and disappear from the flying experience when it is not.
Pixie is not intended to turn paragliding into conventional paramotoring. Its purpose is simpler: to help pilots gain altitude, extend short flights and make more flying days possible.
Pixie demonstrates what the modular Starseed Stellar platform was created to do.
It is built on the same central frame architecture as the Starseed Stellar 110. Rather than developing an entirely separate airframe, we have changed only the components required for this new configuration.
The propeller hoop is removed. The top strut is reduced. The propeller is moved farther from the pilot.
The result is not merely a smaller Stellar 110. It is another machine made possible by the same platform.

A smaller top strut supports the new configuration while preserving the structure and geometry of the Stellar platform.
The propeller is mounted on a 20 cm extension, moving it farther away from the pilot.
Pixie uses a dedicated throttle system designed to prevent unintended throttle input before the pilot is ready to commit to full power for take-off.
Pixie is being developed for pilots who want access to powered climb without carrying the bulk and structure of a conventional paramotor.
It is intended for gaining safe altitude, extending short sled rides and reaching the air when local conditions or launch options would otherwise keep the pilot on the ground.
Once the climb is complete, the wing, the air and the pilot take over.
Starseed Pixie is a Pro model developed exclusively for experienced pilots.
Its hoop-free configuration, compact geometry and specialised operating concept require sound judgement, disciplined handling and a high level of pilot awareness. It is not intended as an entry-level machine or as a first step into powered flight.
Every Pixie pilot must complete dedicated one-to-one training on the machine before flying it independently. The training covers handling, preparation, throttle operation, take-off procedures and the techniques specific to the Pixie configuration.
Experience is essential. Machine-specific training is mandatory.
Starseed Pixie is currently being tested and refined.
Final weight, dimensions, configuration and availability will be published when the testing programme is complete. Components and technical details may change as the machine develops.
Pixie is not yet available for purchase. When released, it will be offered only to suitably experienced pilots who complete the required one-to-one training.
